I'm sad to announce that Lance, my faithful equine partner passed in
September of last year. It has been a terrible blow but we did take photos of
him with our dogs in the front yard his last day. As usual he was a perfect
gentleman with them and careful not to hurt our Havanese. I count myself
lucky to have spent 24 years with him that were laced with fun and
adventure.
We have a sister kennel on the East coast, run by a member of our family
De Vine Farms is providing the same high quality Havanese puppies and an
east coast base to acquire a new family member from our Kennels. She has
horses for sale. They also work with several rehab facilities for horses and
dogs, and other animals check out her page to see if there is some animal

At Excalibur Farms we began raising Arabian and Pinto Arabian horses in 1985. My own injuries keep me from riding
horses now. In 1994 we started raising German Shepherds all due to one dog, Merlyn. After several different small
dog breeds that we kept for family pets, we discovered Havanese. What a difference this breed proved to be from our
previous lap monsters. We know have bred our 5th generation Havanese puppies. Havanese love us, our shepherds
and everyone else as well. They are a lot of fun and after having one I never want another type. Havanese are special
and have become a permanent part of our lives. We started raising the Havanese over 7 years ago and still love them.
They love us even more. Such intelligent animals full of joy and very people oriented in their thinking.
